Taste

Taste is not subjective. Well maybe a little bit, but for the most part not. People who have poor taste generally do not consume things critically enough to be able to compare quality of different works. Since they are happy with what they have, they do not develop awareness necessary to appreciate more complex works. It is also a bad thing because it makes their personalities less open
