This game seems to occasionally have spoken lines differ from the written ones. Like when the MC doesn’t care about what the characters are saying, his thoughts are written instead. A bit challenging to follow, but not as hard as I thought.

Playing more moshiraba. Ugh, I hate this trope where character talks to a ghost and the others think he’s talking to them (or is crazy talking to himself). It makes the talking character seem too stupid, and also the other characters who can’t figure out something weird is going on. It’s so much better to handle this like in Death Note for example.

Well, this story is developing quite fast so I can forgive the above kind of thing.

Continuing the VN. This revelation about Chihaya having caused (without intending, in a karmic way) Akiho’s death is pretty delicious. Considering this game has four routes, it’s interesting MC is already dating one of the girls. Might be though that the first girl disappears (moves on to the next world) and it takes quite a time for MC to start think about the other girls that way. And I suppose it’s even possible they are not as romantic routes as in most VNs.

Playing more moshiraba. Chihaya is my waifu. Tsubasa worst girl, hoping this chapter of hers will end soon. It’s annoying how much of this drama comes from MC being so dense. Although a dense MC does go well with a heroine like Chihaya, maybe I don’t mind so much. Lol, don’t really mind with the two sisters sulking when I get to spend this quality time with Chihaya-chan. Eeh?!, a sudden yuri development? I kind of worry this won’t turn out so well.

Playing more moshiraba. Spent a lot of time on this today. Almost cleared the game with the Chihaya route I think. I probably won’t play the other routes even though there might be quite a bit of new content there. The game is okay, but I don’t want to spend too much time on it. I think often with games if you complete like 75% of the content, you get like 90% of the experience because you have seen the gameplay, you have seen the writing and you have seen the art. For the most part it will be just more of the same. It’s better to start playing another game or consuming some other media because that brings much more novelty and lets you discover gems which you can happily complete to a 100%. Also I think it’s the creator’s responsibility to place the content of the game so that the player sees it without excessive effort. E.g. most of the best quality writing should be on the common route of a VN (preferably well distributed), and the individual routes should be indicative of what the other routes are like, so that I can make the decisions if I want more of the same (note that “sameness” here could even mean something like uniqueness, for example if one route seems very different from the main story, then you might expect the other routes to also be very different and in that way be similar in concept).

Finished the Chihaya route now. It was a bit longer and better than I expected. I didn’t fully realize that the lack of choices is not indicative of remaining story length. Hmm, the other routes might be interesting too but I feel like maybe it’s proper to wait a bit before jumping to another route. You see, it would be a bit like immediately abandoning the previous route’s girl, who you went so much through with.
