There are incredibly many ways to juggle, but I chose this old video as page showcase because my own style is perhaps closest to it, although nowhere near as good or performable.

I originally learned to juggle on my own around the age of 20 after seeing some cool videos online. Back then YouTube was about showing cool skills you had rather than trying to sell your brand and maximize view counts and revenue. So there were lots of technical videos showing the various tricks and it just seemed really interesting to me at the time.

Obligatory, but trying to keep it short: Learning to juggle 3 balls is really easy, just follow any video you can find. My personal advice starts here: After learning the most basic 3-ball juggling pattern, also try learn several simple tricks (eg outside throws, 2 balls in one hand, “441 siteswap”). That will get you somewhat better idea of what juggling really feels like. If you can push that momentum to also learn “Mill’s Mess”, then you will probably know whether the hobby is for you or not.

Mill's Mess tutorial. The trick is both easier than it looks (compared to other tricks), and more difficult (because juggling takes practice). I think I originally learned the trick from this video.
