Gap moe

As I understand it, “gap moe” is kind of moe that is created when two unlikely characteristics are combined in a single character in a way that makes her or him appear cute. More specifically, the cuteness comes from them attempting something that they can’t quite pull off, like a child trying to do some adult thing. So I think things like tsundere, kuudere and yandere do not quite fall under gap moe because they mainly just combine two extreme personality traits. They are rather fictional trait combinations too, which doesn’t make the archetypes very child-like in my opinion, just weird.

It could be my terminology is just off here, but the thing I labeled “gap moe” definitely exists as a concept that some artists share.
