Fight Club (1999 film)
I’ve had this itch for a while to rewatch Fight Club:
- The fact I remember it actually being a good film
- All those trance/EDM samples from the film — because Norton’s deep voice is just amazing
- That physique of Brad Pitt
- The MC identity plot never done that well by anyone else
So I started watching it. I’m not sure I’ve seen the film more than once, but I’d guess no, and that I’ve just read so many spoilers afterwards that I think I know how the film goes.
About being addicted to support meetings (hugs and crying cure insomnia): “Because I didn’t say anything, people always assumed the worst.”
Finished it now. Great film. I thought there would be a bunch of extra fluff but it was really solid.

During the making of Fight Club, the executives felt that Marla’s line after she has sex with Tyler (“I want to have your abortion”) was too offensive, and asked director David Fincher to change it. Fincher changed it to “I haven’t been fucked like that since grade school” and refused to change it back.
