Doki Doki Literature Club

Playing now Doki Doki Literature Club, an English Visual Novel a friend recommended to me. I expect this to become “disturbing” at some point, so maybe it will be just the thing for me. Anyway, so far it’s all cute and Natsuki especially so. Nothing like building a good contrast before the bombs drop?

Haha, after the first twist I’m loving this game. I didn’t initially plan to play this in one sitting but it looks like the kind of game best suited for doing so, maybe it isn’t too long.

Finished the game now, liked it quite a bit. I think I missed a bunch of content but it seems secondary to the main part of the game so I won’t bother.

The author apparently wrote a big chunk of his random ponderings as Monika’s dialogue for the end. They are pretty entertaining to read from the data files (in-game, not so). Quite similar to the stuff I wrote in my dailies when I get to thinking about weird things. Friend said it reminded him of stuff we talk to each other.
