Juggling conventions

Juggling conventions are gatherings where hobbyists collect in gym halls and such to juggle, share their tricks with each other, and of course to just have good time.

I like this old video a lot because it show multiple jugglers I looked up to when I was most active learning this wonderful hobby. At the time the consensus on the internet seemed to be that the Japanese were the most inventive jugglers. I think it’s just that the Japanese are inventive in a great deal of creative fields, but sadly seem to produce professionals less often in fields that are not as established in the country. At least my understanding is that proportionally more professional jugglers come from other “western” countries.
