Burning
Started watching the film Burning (2018). Girl has a comfy one room apartment:
This room faces North so it’s always chilly and dark. It gets sunglight only once a day. From over there. The sunlight hits the Seoul Tower window and bounces into my room.
Finished the film now. It was also okay. It’s a bit unfortunate that films like this tend to have to be quite long to work.
I liked best about it my observation that things were repeatedly “missing” in it. There was a cat (or was there?) in her apartment, although the man never saw it — the food just vanished and the litter got filled. He lived in his father’s house but the the father was only seen in two occasions at court, not saying a word. His mother was also missing from his life, seen only once in the film. And most importantly, the heroine abruptly goes missing, pushing the man over the limit.
