The video is probably a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I think it’s quite good to ponder such things.
A similar point that I’m actually convinced on is that τ (“tau”), equal to two times pi 6.2831853… is a much better constant than pi. If you have done any advanced math or physics, you’ll know that 2π appears more often than π alone. Long before learning about tau, I developed intuition to think about circle measurements as fractions of full (unit) circle, and tau works great with that since one tau is the circumference of the unit circle (2π).
